Scholarships: Previous Winners

As Chi Omegas, we hold scholarship very high and place it as a top priority.  As it is one of our Six Purposes and is declared in our Symphony that each woman shall “place scholarship before social obligation”, scholarship is considered to be one of our main goals.  Traditionally we have a very strong chapter that has proven its ability by placing among the top of the Panhellenic list of houses ranked by grades at the University.  Since 1972, Chi Omega has earned 58 semesters above the all sorority average, consecutively since 1998.  Epsilon Alpha has ranked in the top five houses 51 times since 1972 and won first place seven times!!  In the spring of 2001, Chi Omega set the all-Panhellenic record for the highest GPA with a 3.360.

We have recently had over 100 active members receive multiple scholarships and over half the chapter are members of an honors society including multiple National Merit Scholars, Regent Scholars, OU Honors Scholars, Valedictorian Scholars, Outstanding Senior in the College of Journalism, Outstanding Senior in Industrial Engineering.

In addition to scholarships offered on campus, there are many offered through Epsilon Alpha and through Chi Omega Nationals.  Below are our recent recipients:
