Andrea L'Afflitto

Dr. Andrea L'Afflitto is a Fellow in the University of Oklahoma Center for Intelligence and National Security. Dr. Vincent Dr. L'Afflitto is an assistant professor at the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering of the University of Oklahoma and serves as coordinator of the "Advanced Control Systems Laboratory" (ADCS). One of the main research objectives of ADCS is investigating optimal and robust control theory and its applications to autonomous aerial and terrestrial vehicles. Dr. L'Afflitto holds a Ph.D. degree in aerospace degree from Georgia Tech, a M.S. degree in mathematics from Virginia Tech, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in aerospace engineering and astronautics from the University of Naples "Federico II." Dr. L'Afflitto has also worked as a system engineer at the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the German Space Agency (DLR), collaborating on projects involving spaceborne remote sensing and the International Space Station.
