GROUP PROJECT

DUE MONDAY 12.09.1996

SAMPLE GROUP PROJECTS

Design, engineer, purchase materials, cut, weld, screw, assemble, deliver, and erect/install a metal symbol/logo for the the College of Architecture or one of its devisions. This could be a relief, sculpture, structure, park bench, trash can, ashtray, table, column, statue, sign, monument or whatever your group feels is the most creative way of representing the OU College of Architecture or one or all of its divisions.

You will be asked to form groups of four (4) by September 4, 1996
By this time I should have received in writing the names of the group members. Students who have not selected a group by this time will be assigned to groups. Preliminary Design due September 18, 1996 Submit a preliminary design showing front, side, top view and proposed location on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, in appropriate scale ( perspective optional Final Design due October 2, 1996 Submit a detailed design, showing front, side, top view, with the full spelling of any lettering applied, with all the material specifications, list of required materials and tools, as well as final placement location on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, in appropriate scale (perspective optional) Completed Structure due installed December 9, 1996 The final group project (metal structure, approved preliminary, final design and actual steel structure placed at final approved location).
