Review,
Final Exam |
The final exam will be comprehensive. Note: The two tests are weighted
equally, 100 points and the final exam is 150 points. Each programming
assignment is weighted equally, 25 points each. Exams will primarily
be objective, i.e., multiple choice. However, there may
be a few essay type questions. Exams may be closed book, open book,
and/or both.
There will be no make-up for missed quizzes.
There will be one ungraded exercise (on documentation);
However, it will be required before the programming assignments can be
turned in.
Special Instructions
TSO Logon IDs, class data sets, and JOB procedures for
the lab assignments will be provided within the first five weeks of class.
Approximately 2 weeks will be given to fully complete each assignment.
Lab assignments will be done in teams with no more than 3 per group. You
may work as a team of 1 if you choose.
Lab programming assignments will be made as the semester
progresses. These assignments may require several hours on a computer terminal,
so don't delay in getting started on any assignment.
Partial credit
may be awarded at instructor's discretion.
Please come to class, read the chapters, keep up on your
lab assignment, listen attentively during class, and participate in the
class discussions.
Handicapped?
If you feel that, because of physical handicaps,

I will do my best to make this an interesting, informative, and challenging
class.
YOU CAN MAKE IT FUN!
