Non-Linear Video Editing Assignment
This project requires you to digitize video, create graphics and then compile a video clip as both a Quicktime Movie and a RealVideo streaming file suitable for a web page. You are not required to shoot original video. In fact, we will not be using departmental video equipment for the production of this assignment. All video must come from other sources.
The project may be suitable for your client's web presence (final project), your personal home page or perhaps for some hypothetical page. If the video is used for your client's page or personal home page, it will not be counted with those projects and will not be graded as part of those projects. In other words, the project will be graded separately. Both aesthetic quality and "degree of difficulty" aspects will be taken into consideration.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Your project must be between 30 seconds and 1:30 in length. Shorter projects will compensate by having shorter shots and/or more effects. The following items must be included in the project:
At least (1) Title created in Premiere (with superimposition)
At least (1) Photoshop Image (with layer motion)
At least (2) transitions
At least (1) track of audio (separate from audio accompanying a video track)
