mayan       Maya are known for many things, such as, mathematics, food, and, especially, their architecture. The Maya's architecture     ranges from small huts, to large houses, to beautiful, elaborate temples.            The stone masonry walls were covered with lime stucco.  Lime stucco is composed of sand, cement, and lime.   Mayan structures vary in height according to the substance that was used on the top of the building. If there was no terrace, the structure was a palace or other inhabitable building.
