Welcome to the ZAP website!

ZAP, the Zoology Aide Program, is a free tutoring service which serves students enrolled in Introduction to Zoology (ZOO 1114).  We are open during the spring and fall semesters.  No appointments are necessary, so please check out our schedule to see when staff is available.  The schedule varies from semester to semester, but the room is generally occupied between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  As a student staffed program we are closed during OU holidays and during finals week.  You can find us in Richard’s Hall, room 207 (across from the advising office).

Students initiated ZAP and it is student-staffed.  We maintain a talented group of volunteer and paid staff.  The ZAPers are undergraduates who have taken the introductory course previously and done very well.  We come from a variety of backgrounds, have diverse interests and are committed to sharing our passion for biology and helping you learn.
