Conference Program
The very fabric of the world we live in is diversity – not just in people groups, but in ways of accomplishing tasks, thinking and communicating ideas. As never before, today’s students have opportunities to experience the richness of diversity on a regular basis through the work place, the media, the use of new technologies and the Internet.
If colleges and universities are to remain at the cutting edge, they must constantly explore new possibilities.
The 2006 Annual Conference, Diversity in the Arts: Commerce, Community, and Culture, will be held October 12-14, in the “City Different,” Santa Fe, NM, and hosted by the University of Oklahoma College of Liberal Studies.
Come participate in discussions on a wide spectrum of issues in diversity ranging from recruiting and retaining minorities for Graduate Liberal Studies Programs to infusing curricula with diversity in art forms, literature and presentation.
