Paul Ketchum, Ph.D. - CLS Faculty Member

Dr. Ketchum earned his doctorate in sociology at Texas A&M University.
His research focuses on racial attitudes and the impact of race on the juvenile and criminal justice systems. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he taught middle school and high school in inner-city Los Angeles and worked with “at-risk” juveniles in Texas. Before joining the College of Liberal Studies, he spent four years with the Sociology Department at OU, and prior to that he taught at a community college in Texas.
Dr. Ketchum lives with his wife Heather (also faculty at OU), numerous dogs and dozen or so horses in rural Norman.
