Missy Heinze - Recruitment and Admissions Specialist

Missy joined the CLS team in June 2010. Specializing in external admissions and recruitment, Missy spends much of her time outside of the office reaching out to non-traditional students seeking to earn bachelor’s or master’s degrees. She also provides support to admissions and marketing for CLS.

Missy has a diverse background that began with her earning a B.A. in exercise science from Creighton University in 1998. She went on to work with Division I athletes at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a strength and conditioning coach assistant. During her time at UNL, Missy became a licensed massage therapist earning a diploma from the Myotherapy Institute in Lincoln, Neb. Continuing massage therapy on a part-time basis, she decided to switch her full-time profession to property management. In July 2005, she married and moved to Norman where her husband accepted a faculty appointment at OU. A year later, she began working in higher education. Nearly a decade after completing her bachelor’s degree, Missy began her journey as a non-traditional student earning an MBA in 2009.
