Missy Mitchell - Special Events & Scholarship Coordinator

Missy began her career at CLS in December 2010 after working in professional and collegiate athletics for most of her life. When she’s not planning events and helping students figure out what scholarships they are eligible for, she is an avid watcher of hockey, Irish dance and equestrian competitions…her children’s hockey, Irish dance and equestrian competitions, that is. She also enjoys reading, photography, music, travel (preferable to Hilton Head Island, S.C., and New York City) and keeping her Christmas lights up until the end of January. Missy is on the board of directors of Jazz In June and urges everyone to attend the FREE blues and jazz concerts each year during the last weekend of June.

Missy received her B.A. in journalism/public relations many years ago and her M.Ed. in adult and higher education with an emphasis in intercollegiate athletic administration in May 2006.
