Brian began working for the College of Liberal Studies in October 2011. His background and work experience undeniably prepared him for his role as a recruiter for military and law enforcement personnel.

Prior to joining CLS, Brian held many positions in the law enforcement world – police officer, prison guard, juvenile justice specialist, probation and parole officer, narcotics interdiction canine handler and a National Tactical Officer Association SWAT operator. His most recent job was perhaps the most daunting of them all – middle school teacher. Brian is also fluent in Spanish.

Brian earned a B.S. in transportation safety from the University of Central Oklahoma, and he received a B.S. in secondary education from East Central University. He is currently enrolled in CLS’ Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership program and expects to graduate in summer 2012.

So, not only can he relate to the job demands of many CLS students, he understands what it’s like to be a CLS student.
