Courtney Vaughn (Ed.D. Oklahoma State University,
Stillwater, Oklahoma,
1980) is Full Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and
Policy Studies at the University
of Oklahoma. She has
produced three co-authored books: City
in the Osage Hills; Women With
Vision; and An Introduction to
Educational Research. Other works
include book chapters in Advances in
Psychological Research, Frank Columbus (Ed.), History of Women in The
United States: Professional and White Collar Employments, Nancy Cott (Ed.), and The Teacher’s Voice: A Qualitative
Analysis of Teaching in Twentieth-Century America, Richard Altenbaugh (Ed.).
