Natural Sciences

The Natural Sciences option utilizes the scientific method to study natural phenomena and increase our understanding of the physical world. Topics in the Natural Sciences include biology, chemistry, physics, geophysics, meteorology, and astronomy.  Courses in this degree option are designed from interdisciplinary perspectives and will provide students with an understanding of the great theorists and ideas of the Natural Sciences.  Students will develop a greater understanding of the world in which we live, while also cultivating their analytical and critical thinking skills.

The Natural Sciences concentration is available through the following delivery options:

• 100% Online
• On-Site at OCCC, Rose State, OU-Norman, and OU-Tulsa
• Self-Paced Independent Study
