Social Sciences

The Social Sciences explore the patterns and interrelationships of human behavior and societies.  Topics in the Social Sciences include anthropology, sociology, psychology, history, economics, ethnology, and political science.  Courses in this degree option are designed from interdisciplinary perspectives and will provide students with an understanding of the great theorists and ideas of the Social Sciences.  Students will develop a greater understanding of human interaction, while also cultivating their analytical and critical thinking skills through the use of the scientific method.

The Social Sciences concentration is available through the following delivery options:

• On-Site at OCCC, Rose State, OU-Norman, and OU-Tulsa
• Self-Paced Independent Study
