Favorite Music

Sweet jams....ANY 80's hair-bands (Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, just to name a few);

old country music (not designer jeans, sleeveless t-shirts, or leather cowboy hats);

and I’m not afraid to say Neil Diamond or Justin Timberlake.

Must see if we are to be friends

Caddyshack, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Bottle Rocket, Dumb and Dumber, Zoolander, and of course…Star Wars (the original trilogy)

Kelly Collyar has worked in the capacity of Admissions and Recruitment for the College of Liberal Studies since September 17th 2007. That’s a fancy way of saying that he travels almost anywhere in the country (and I guess outside the country if needed) to help non-traditional students earn their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He is also involved in the admissions process, marketing of the college, and serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Leadership.

Before coming to OU, Kelly worked for Gap Inc. for almost nine years serving in several capacities including Store Manager at Penn Square Mall in OKC, and right here in Norman. Upon completion of his BLS from OU in 2005, he immediately began working on his Master’s Degree (MHR) in which he focused his studies on Human Resource Development; this lead to his appointment to serve on a twelve-person Blueprint team in San Francisco that would re-structure the HR framework of Gap Brand in 2007.

In July of 2007, just before the rollout of Gap Inc.’s Blueprint, Kelly was hired by the College of Liberal Studies and the rest, they say, is history….

Quirky Hobby
I sort of obsessively collect OU sports memorabilia; football, basketball, whatever. I have stuff going back to my days as a kid (1970’s and 80’s) and the catch is that I never BUY anything; everything I have is collected, signed, photographed, or whatever, by me!
