The OU-Tulsa ECE Program has world class research labs dedicated to the areas of photonics, quantum optics, wireless networking, electromagnetic compatibility and interoperability. TCOM researchers have had extremely productive collaborations with colleagues in Norman, in the OU-Tulsa College of Medicine and at the University of Tulsa in fiber optics, medical devices and network security. Students learn and use the technique in the interoperability verification in a hands-on training envirnment. The interoperability lab encompasses five domains of telecommunication: PSTN/Legacy, wireless, optical/photonics, IP and ATM.
