Even before Oklahoma was a state, OU graduates have been leaving their mark on the campus each year through the tradition of the Class Gift. Some Class Gifts have become familiar landmarks. Recent gifts have included some of OU's most important campus artworks, including a bronze rendition of the University Seal in the Union's Stuart Landing, as well as "The Guardian" statue.
Please join us in this very special tradition with a donation to the Class Gift.

Katie Smith, class gift committee chairwoman, is pleased to announce the 2009 Class Gift!
A stained-glass window will be placed above the doors between the Clarke-Anderson room and the Will Rogers room on the first floor of Oklahoma Memorial Union. The gift honors the Union's 80th anniversary.
Smith said: “We, as the Student Alumni Association, like many student groups, have spent countless hours in Oklahoma Memorial Union, and celebrating its 80th anniversary is something we are very excited about. Also, I hope that the final stained-glass feature will serve as a reminder of why Oklahoma Memorial Union was built: as a memorial to the students, faculty, and staff of the University who fought and died in World War I. It is important to reflect upon those whom the Union was initially intended to honor and to extend that reflection to those Sooners who have given their lives for our country in the years since.”
