5:00 p.m. CART Shuttle begins from Lloyd Noble Center, 2900 S. Jenkins Ave., Norman, OK. (The CART will run continuously from 5 to 11 p.m. All guests, faculty and graduates are encouraged to park at Lloyd Noble Center and take the FREE CART Shuttle to Commencement).

5:30 p.m. Gates open at The Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.                     Doctoral degree graduates and their faculty mentors report to south entrances of Bizzell Library for processional line-up.

6:15 p.m. Pre-Commencement concert / presentation of senior portraits taken for the OU yearbook, Sooner 2011, for Commencement guests

6:30 p.m. All other graduates and non-faculty mentors report to Brooks Mall for line-up

7:00 p.m. Commencement Begins! Guests should be seated for the processional as graduates process into the stadium accompanied by flags, banners and music

11:00 p.m. Last CART Shuttle pick-up

Caps and Gowns are worn for both Commencement and Convocations (unless otherwise noted on the Convocation Schedule). Caps and gowns may be purchased at the OU Bookstore (stadium location) or by calling (405) 325-3511.

Programs will be given to each guest as they arrive at the stadium. Programs will include the names, major(s), minor(s) and honors of the summer and December 2010 graduates and graduation candidates for May 2011.Students who do not want their names printed in the Commencement program must indicate so on the Application for Graduation, or by contacting the Office of Academic Records at (405)325-4147.

Commencement Photos
A professional photographer will be on hand taking photos throughout Commencement and Convocations. A complimentary color proof will be mailed to you within ten days of Commencement along with information about photo packages for purchase. For more information, contact Graduation Photo at (405) 364-1777.

Park at the Lloyd Noble Center and take the shuttle to the stadium. Free shuttle services from Lloyd Noble Center to the stadium will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will run continuously until 11 p.m. Disability/Special Services parking is available immediately east of The Gaylord Family -Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Those parking in this lot should enter from Brooks Street, north of the stadium only. Jenkins Ave. will be closed from Lindsey Street to Brooks Street for Commencement.
