Gifts to Cancer Center Qualify for Tax Credit

Oklahoma income taxpayers who make a charitable gift to the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center or another qualified research institution are eligible for a new tax credit through the Oklahoma Biomedical Research Tax Credit program. Five Individuals Receive Honorary Degrees

Three outstanding individuals joined University of Oklahoma Commencement speaker Ruth J. Simmons, president of Brown University, in being awarded honorary degrees at OU’s recent 2012 Commencement Ceremony. A fifth honorary degree recipient, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anthony Shadid, was honored posthumously. Read more about the recipients.
