At your service!

CARTaccess is CART's origin-to-destination transportation service for individuals who are unable to use the regularly scheduled CART bus routes. CARTaccess features lift-equipped vans and operates the same hours as the regular CART routes.

Customers must schedule a CARTaccess ride at least one day before they wish to ride by calling (405) 325-5438 (v/tdd). CARTaccess serves the entire city limits of Norman.

CARTaccess passengers are allowed to travel with a companion/guest, children and/or a personal care assistant to aid in their trip.

CARTaccess does not offer secondary zone service on Saturdays or after 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

CARTaccess users can schedule rides at the click of a button by utilizing the online ride request form. Click here to access the form and schedule your ride now!


Those wishing to apply for CARTaccess services may visit the CART office or call (405) 325-5438 and CART staff will mail an application to them. Eligibility is determined by CART staff soon after all requested information is received from both the applicant and his or her physician. Appeals of eligibility denials are considered by the Van Advisory Committee. Applicants will be notified when the committee is able to hear their appeal and are welcome to dispute the decision at that time.

OU faculty, staff and students ride free in the primary zone. The cost is $1.50 for faculty, staff and students in the secondary zone.
