Study Abroad 101
There are many things to consider when deciding on a study abroad program. Attend Study Abroad 101 to learn about how study abroad works and to help you decide which program to choose.
In order to study abroad as an OU student, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Have a minimum Combined Retention GPA of 2.5 at the time of application submission;
- Be in good academic and Student Conduct standing at OU and remain in good standing throughout the duration of the program; student conduct checks will be done once an application has been opened.
- Be enrolled full-time at OU the semester prior to the study abroad term and have completed 2 semesters of college-level course work in residence as a full-time student on a college and/or university campus;

You can download a copy of the Study Abroad GPA Petition Form here (PDF). The deadline for the submission of this form is one week prior to your program application deadline.
