To earn the title of alumnus means you are a graduate. That would make anyone proud. At the College of Liberal Studies we are especially proud of our alumni because they are nontraditional students. Their average age is 37, which means they most likely are juggling the real world of adult life – jobs and families. Add to that the demands of a college degree program.
CLS takes great pride in its hundreds of graduates, many of whom are online students. Talk about self-discipline. Our students graduate with real-world critical thinking and analytical skills.
For 50 years, CLS has served this distinct population of students and enabled them to continue their academic success, finish unfinished business and further their careers. CLS has garnered national attention for its service to nontraditional and adult students.
Involve yourself to help others earn their degrees and carry on the proud Sooner tradition. Reconnect with classmates, keep us up-to-date with your news, or help current students with your knowledge or with a donation for scholarships. The real value of CLS lies in its loyal supporters.

Tell Us Your Story

Do you know the measure of quality institutions? It’s their story – of successes, overcoming hardships, inspiring professors, life-changing courses. Our collective experiences woven together will tell the story of the College of Liberal Studies.
If we are judged by our narrative, help us make it the best. As adult and nontraditional students, you likely have a unique one.
What is your story? Please tell us, so we can tell others. Let us know.
E-mail your story to Melissa Caperton.
