Candidates are asked to arrive at 12:45 p.m. Candidates are required to register for convocation at the CLS Office.
Parking is available in the Elm Street garage, which is attached to the south side of Catlett.
What is convocation?
The College of Liberal Studies’ convocation is a ceremony specifically for graduating CLS students. During convocation, graduates will dress in ceremonial academic costume, be recognized by name, have their photo taken and receive an official University of Oklahoma diploma cover from the dean of the College of Liberal Studies.
Information for graduates
Students are required to register for convocation. A convocation packet including registration information will be provided to graduation candidates and graduation candidates are required to submit their response to the College of Liberal Studies office. For advanced information regarding graduation gear, please refer to the OU Graduation Store.
Please make sure you have your current address on file with Admissions & Records so you will receive your graduation packet in the spring.
