ODOT Bridge Squad

The ODOT Bridge Squad at Fears Lab is the oldest and arguably one of the most successful internship programs at the University of Oklahoma. This program dates from 1986 when it was located in the sub-basement of the Carson Engineering Center.  The ODOT Bridge Squad provides bridge engineering services to ODOT Division 3 which covers a ten county area.

Students typically join the squad in their sophomore year and continue through graduation.  The squad is directed by Annie Lombardo, P.E., an OU alumnus and ODOT Engineering Manager.  She is supported by the following ODOT personnel in engineering design:  Roland Sison P.E., Squad Supervisor/CADD Specialist; Leslie Jenkins and Assistant Squad Supervisor/CADD Specialist Katie Brown.

Current CEES students in good academic standing who wish to apply to the ODOT Bridge Squad should complete the application and return it to Fears Lab, or place it in Dr. Ramseyer’s mail box on the third floor of Carson Engineering Center.
