College hosts free seminars for Early Career Educators

The College will host four specialized seminars in early 2015 just for teachers beginning their careers. 

The next seminar is Saturday, February 7

All sessions are 9:30 am to 12:00 noon in Ellsworth Collings Hall room 250 on the OU campus.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.  Download informational flyer (docx).

Army Combat Veteran, National Best-Selling Author and Social Entrepreneur WES MOORE to speak on campus

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education’s Cathey Simmons Humphreys Distinguished Education Lecture Series featuring Wes Moore will be Thursday, Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Meacham Auditorium, Oklahoma Memorial Union, 900 Asp Ave., Norman, Okla. A reception will follow.

Two from Early Childhood Education program honored by national organization

Professor Diane Horm

Dr. Diane Horm, George Kaiser Family Foundation Endowed Chair and Professor of Early Childhood Education (ECE) at OU-Tulsa and Nikki Jones, a graduate of OU-Tulsa’s ECE Bachelor’s Completion Program were each honored by the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators (NAECTE) at their recent conference in Dallas.
