COGNOS User Group Meets

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education hosted a kickoff meeting of the new created COGNOS USER’S GROUP on Wednesday, March 6th in Collings Hall. At least 22 different areas across campus were represented. COGNOS is a data program that allows university employees to access data to run reports and provide information to administrators for analysis. Recently it was discovered that a need existed campus-wide for additional training and support relating to COGNOS. Moving forward the user group that met today will be able to help clarify data and reports and hopefully, be able to provide additional training opportunities. In addition, a Sharepoint site has been created to allow users to post documents and share in discussions in order to help others with their reporting needs.
