Study Abroad

Students in Italian gondola

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education recognizes the need to prepare the next generation of teachers with vital cross-cultural and global skills so that they in turn can promote global citizenship skills in their classrooms. With this in mind, we are developing international educational programs for our students.

Undergraduate and graduate students may earn credit for required and elective courses taught by OU Faculty while studying abroad.

The college offers scholarships specifically to help offset the expense of a Study Abroad experience.  For the upcoming summer, twenty-five scholarships are available to admitted JRCoE students who apply through the scholarship application portal.  The scholarship application deadline is February 1.  Other funding is available through the Presidential International Travel Fellowship (PITF).
