    Counseling Psychology Program

The Counseling Programs area of the Department of Educational Psychology offers two distinct but integrated degree programs: a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a M.Ed. in Community Counseling. Our developmental scientist-practitioner training model provides the structure for exposing students in an early and continuous manner to the integration of science and practice, which includes extensive hands-on training in our on-site, community-based clinic located at 3200 Marshall Avenue, Suite 100.

The clinic provides students with the opportunity to learn about and experience the challenge of professional practice with the added security of quality oversight from licensed faculty. All work with clinic clients is digitally recorded for supervision and training purposes.
