Counseling Psychology

Instructional Psychology and Technology

Relationships among factors that influence student motivation and engagement in learning; measurement of motivation; instructional design; scaffolding problem solving with technology; visual literacy; development of politico-moral attitudes and behaviors; the development of expertise; teacher professional development

Special Education

Instructional strategies for students with learning differences (e.g., autism, mental retardation, learning disabilities); early intervention, transition, and severe disabilities; Technology for students with and without learning differences; technology applications.
