Welcome to the University of Oklahoma Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education.
It is an exciting time to become a teacher! Here at JRCoE, we focus on preparing extraordinary educators by giving them the best professors- who are master teachers, varied and high quality field experiences, access to the latest educational technology and the opportunity to participate and benefit from all of our local, state and international partnerships.
JRCoE is consistently ranked in the top 10% of all graduate Colleges of Education in the country. That recognition is certainly well deserved and reflects deeply the dedication of the College's faculty and staff by providing the best possible education for all our students.
Our faculty is world class. They have built collaborative projects with researchers and educators across the university, state and world. Their works are respected at the highest levels and they are consistently invited to present innovative research findings nationally and internationally. External funding is at an all-time high and as a result we are contributing to cutting edge knowledge in many educational fields with scholarly publications and presentations.
Students in the College are also receiving record financial support in the form of scholarships offered by the College. Such critical financial support from our alumni, friends and donors means our students will graduate with less debt and will begin their professional careers more focused on the path ahead than the financial trail left behind.
The newly renovated Collings Hall is a great source of pride felt by faculty and students alike. We now have a beautiful facility that offers renovated high tech classrooms and quiet attractive lounge areas perfect for studying. We also added much needed classroom space, which has nearly doubled the size of the old facility, making the learning process more dynamic and allowing our students and faculty use of facilities and equipment that will rival those of any Big 12 institution.
