Study in France with the JRCoE
About the Program
In 2006, the Oklahoma State Department of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Académie d’Amiens, uniting the two regions in an educational partnership. Since then, schools across Oklahoma have been working together on projects and participating in exchanges – both real and virtual. As the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education recognizes the need to prepare the next generation of teachers with vital cross-cultural and global skills, we are offering a five-week summer program at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens. The reciprocal exchange provides pre-service teachers the opportunity to hone their French skills while gaining insight into the workings of the culture, educational system, and teaching practices through a 5-week immersion experience.
Dates: May 16-June 25, 2012
