The Facilities Management department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings and associated mechanical equipment on the Norman Campus. It provides utilities to University functions and is the repository for as-built and record drawings of all University facilities and utility systems. It is responsible for Energy Management and accomplishes small remodeling and alteration/construction projects for the University community.
Basic repair and custodial services to academic areas are provided through a central operating budget at no charge to individual departments.
Extra services provided in academic areas and all services provided to nonacademic areas are contracted with the Facilities Management, and a charge is made to the account designated by the department requesting the work.
