Scholarships

The School of Art provides substantial scholarship funding to undergraduate students each academic year. Scholarships vary in amounts and are competitive based on both academic and artistic merit.

Prospective students currently in High School must submit the scholarship application by the March 1st deadline even if they have not yet been accepted into the university. All scholarship awards are contingent on a full-time course enrollment for both Fall/Spring semesters.

All undergraduate scholarships listed are non-consecutive and awarded for one academic year (Fall/Spring). Students MUST re-apply annually before the March 1st deadline. ELIGIBILITY: School of Art students majoring in Sculpture with an emphasis in figurative sculpture. Must be making satisfactory progress and be of high moral character.

Kim and Paul Moore Scholarship

Selma Naifeh Scholarship Fund

ELIGIBILITY: Oklahoma residents majoring in Painting.
AVAILABLE TO: Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Graduate Assistantships (GA) and Teaching Assistantship (GTA) are distributed on a competitive basis through the School of Art Graduate Director. The availability and amount of each assistantship varies each year.

Additionally, all graduate students are eligible for the Madeline Colbert Steed scholarship and MA students in Art History can apply for the Frances Weitzenhoffer Memorial Fellowship in Art History.
