Desmond Shawe-Taylor manages one of the world’s most prestigious and important art collections: that of H M Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. It reveals fashions and taste in art from the 16th century to the present day.

Anna Somers Cocks, as founder-editor and CEO of the globally influential publication The Art Newspaper, has an astonishing knowledge and overview of how public and private collections are developing in the modern era.

These two distinguished individuals will describe trends both specific and general in a spirited and lively conversation with each other. Later, the conversation will open up to include the audience.
