Junior Day

Junior Day is a premier event for high school students to get a sneak peek at the University of Oklahoma and its programs. Students will leave better prepared for the college application and scholarship search process, all while getting connected to OU.

Thank you for your interest in Junior Days 2014. Due to overwhelming interest in these events, both have reached capacity and have full waiting lists. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that you will provide us the opportunity to host you on campus soon!

Join us on a weekday to learn about the college search process, explore colleges and major options, attend a special guest lecture, take a campus tour, and eat lunch in Couch Restaurants.
 
Itinerary:
8:00am - Check-in begins outside Meacham Auditorium (Oklahoma Memorial Union, 2nd floor)
8:30am - Welcome
8:45am - Student Speaker
9:30am - Exploration Hour
    This will give you the opportunity meet with staff and students from various on campus academic
    departments!
10:40am - Student Life Information Session
11:00am - Optional faculty lecture, campus tours, and lunch in Couch Restaurants
 
Parking: Available in the University Lot on the Southeast corner of Jenkins Blvd and Brooks.  Please look for our student assistants if you need help!

 

Cost:
$20 for junior students and $5 for additional guests.

Registration includes: programming, lunch, and student t-shirt. Once you have registered for the event, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed instructions. If you have already registered and would like to pay for this event, please visit ou.edu/go2/boomerday.

Spend a Saturday on campus to learn about the college search process and what awaits you at OU!  You'll have the opportunity to attend the academic and student discovery sessions of your choice, take a campus tour, and have a picnic lunch with students and staff.
 
Itinerary:
8:30am - Check-in begins outside of Reynolds Performing Arts Center
9:00am - Welcome
9:15am - Student Speaker
9:45am - Academic Discovery Session 1
    Students will attend a self-selected information session about their academic area of interest
10:30am - Academic or Student Discovery Session 2
    Students will attend a self-selected information session about their area of interest
11:15am - Student Discovery Session 3
    Students will attend a self-selected information session about their area of interest
12:00pm - Picnic Lunch on campus
1:00pm - Campus tours begin
 
Parking:
Available in the University garage on the corner of Elm avenue and Boyd Street as well as any OU lot on our campus. You will not need a parking permit as this event is on a Saturday.
