As you progress through your junior year at OU there are some important opportunities you should consider focusing on if you haven't already. Of course, knowing your degree plan will be of upmost importance. You should be in communication with your advisor about your plan toward degree. If you haven't already, you should be asking your advisor for a degree check during the last semester of your Junior year. Also, students in their junior year should be looking toward the future and life after college by taking advantage of the many services offered through Career Services, including internships, co-ops, mentors and assistance with resumes and interview skills. See the information below about the Junior Jump-Start event co-hosted by OU Career Services and the OU Graduation Office. Last but not least, consider the legacy you want to leave behind at OU! Get involved on campus and leave your mark. There are lots of organizations and areas to invest your considerable talents and your time. Two great involvement resources are the offices of Student Life and Leadership and Volunteerism.
