Graduate Student Life Events
Graduate Student Life exists to connect, equip, and encourage graduate students at the University of Oklahoma. Whether it is at a cookout on the lawn, game night in the Graduate Student Life Center, or a healthy living workshop, we are here for you! All of our programs are designed to meet the personal, professional, and community needs of OU’s graduate community.
Graduate Student Research & Performance Day
Want an opportunity to show off your research? If you are interested in gaining valuable experience presenting your work in a supportive environment while demonstrating your scholarship to the rest of OU’s academic community, please join us for our annual Student Research and Performance Day. You might even win a cash award for your presentation!
Graduate Fellowship Luncheon
Every year the Graduate College hosts the Graduate Fellowship Reception to honor the recipients of the fellowship programs.
Professional Ethics Training (Responsible Conduct of Research)
All GTAs and GRAs are required to complete the Professional Ethics Training seminar. During training, students will learn about real-world issues encountered by researchers, acquire strategies for tackling research challenges, and engage in discussion with graduate students in other disciplines.
Graduate Grant Writing Workshops
The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE), in cooperation with the Graduate College, has developed a graduate grant proposal writing workshop series. The workshop series will be organized to allow participants to learn from an introductory, non-disciplinary-specific overview, followed by a more disciplinary or area-specific perspective, and culminating in a broad, multidisciplinary mock review experience.
