On-Campus Housing

Congratulations on making the decision to attend the University of Oklahoma!  You now have the opportunity to live on campus in one of several different housing options.  OU Housing and Food Services is here to assist you as you transition from living at home, to living at OU.  If you have questions about on-campus housing, arrival dates or campus dining, please call us toll-free at (888) 416-9524.

OU Residence Halls

OU Residence halls provide a home that meets all your needs and wants.  Located in the heart of the University, all of your classes are a short walk or bike ride away and you will always have something to do; from residence life programs to special dinners in Couch Restaurants.  Select communities within the residence halls also offer access to a kitchen, available for residents to cook their own meals.

Upperclass students

If you are an upperclass student with more than 24 hours of college credit, you could be eligible to live within the OU owned and operated apartment communities. 

OU Traditions Square

OU Traditions Square East & West are convenient apartment style-communities just a quick walk away from class.  OU Traditions Square is fully furnished and offers all the perks you deserve...

Common areas within OU Traditions Square are able to serve as study lounges so you and your classmates can meet and discuss current classroom issues.





Kraettli Apartments

Kraettli Apartments, located directly across the street from OU Traditions Square East, are OU's traditional apartment community.  Students and staff staying in Kraettli receive all the following amenties:

  • on-campus convenience
  • furnished or unfurnished apartments available
  • all bills paid, one check to OU
  • high-speed internet
  • on-property laundry facilities that accept Sooner Sense
  • CART bus stops
  • playground areas
  • basketball court
  • bbq grills located throughout the complex
