We host programs to facilitate every aspect of students' lives, from academic success to healthy eating to multi-cultural awareness. A particular aspect that the University takes pride in is the Faculty-in-Residence program. Faculty members of various disciplines volunteer to live in the residence halls where they host special programs and lectures for the residents.

The University of Oklahoma provides residents a welcoming and safe environment. From detailed plans that explain exactly what to do in the event of a weather emergency, to transportation services available throughout the academic year, safety is a main concern.
