Step One
Complete Housing Application
If you do not currently live on campus, or if the upcoming semester is the first time you will live on campus, please complete the first step in the on-campus housing process, the online Housing Application. There is a $30 non-refundable fee for the application, which all new prospective OU on-campus residents must complete.
Once we have processed and posted your application and fee, and you have been admitted to OU, you will be eligible to complete the corresponding contract. If you have been admitted to OU and have completed your application, please complete the corresponding contract with the appropriate link below.
Step Two
Housing Contracts
First Year Freshman
Starting OU in fall 2012 as a first year freshman?
On-campus living provides safety, flexibility, support and convenience. Because we are owned and operated by OU, only we can provide the true collegiate living experience you deserve. As a first year student, you will call the Residence Halls home! View housing policy.
After your Housing Application has been processed and you've been admitted to OU, you may then access the Fall 2012- Spring 2013 OU Freshman Housing Contract.
If you are transferring in as a Freshman in Spring 2012 the Spring 2012 OU Freshman Housing Contract is available here.
You may request a roommate, but you may not request suitemates. Mutual roommate requests must be received by the Housing and Food Services Operations Staff on or before May 1. Requests received after that date may not be honored. Housing assignments will be e-mailed to your OU e-mail address beginning in late June. Assignments are based on priority date: the receipt date of your accurately completed contract, along with verified status in the Enrollment Commitment Program.
