
Ph.D. Program
The Price College of Business Ph.D. is a closely knit, high-quality program stressing solid preparation, collaborative relationships with faculty, support for research and professional travel, and strong placements. Our goal is to provide our students with the necessary knowledge, training, and resources to pursue successful careers in research and teaching that expand the frontiers of knowledge in business disciplines.
We currently have a total of 36 PhD in Business Administration students in five divisions:
- Accounting (9 students)
- Finance (9 students)
- Management (8 students)
- Management Information Systems (6 students)
- Marketing & Supply Chain Management (4 students)
Application deadline is February 1.
Applications received after February 1 will be considered only on a space available basis.
Ph.D. Financial Support
All of our PhD students receive an 11-month Graduate Assistantship (GA) position as part of their admissions offer. The GA position is a combination of teaching and research and includes a monthly stipend of $1,700. The GA appointment includes a FULL tuition waiver (not including the university fees) for all of the hours of the program required for the degree. Additionally, incoming PhD students receive a $4,000 professional expense allowance to be used over four years for research activities such as computers, data, and travel.
