Work Assistance Tuition Waiver
The Work Assistance Tuition Waiver is designed to assist undergraduate students that work 25+ hours per week during the academic year. The intent of the tuition waiver is to help these students with their finances so that they are able to work fewer hours during the semester and focus more time and energy on their studies. (Students that receive the tuition waiver are not required to continue to work 25+ hours a week during the following semester).
“Our goal is to provide more scholarship support to those who must work long hours to pay their way through the University.” -President David Boren
After receiving the tuition waiver, students must meet the following requirements:
- Enroll and successfully complete at least 15 hours each semester; and
- Achieve at least a 2.0 GPA in these classes for each the fall and spring semesters
The application for Spring 2015 is available on oZone. The application and two consecutive pay stubs with work hour information will be due December 8th by 5:00 p.m. View the Ineligible Students PDF to learn more about who is not eligible to apply for the 2015 Spring Work Assistance Tuition Waiver.
