African American Student Life welcomes you to OU and wants to be a strong support system for you at the University of Oklahoma. As a student here at the university there are a multitude of opportunities to get involved. Please take advantage of the unique position you are in as a student at the University of Oklahoma to grow as an individual and get involved. Allow us to aid you in the successful pursuit of your college degree.

African American Student Life is focused on helping African American students make the most of their academic opportunities at the University of Oklahoma. Our primary purpose is to retain and graduate African-American students.  In doing this, we provide our students with positive campus life experiences to enrich their collegiate experience and prepare them for a successful careers after graduation.  By campus and community involvement, mentorship, leadership development, and cultural support we guide students to the best versions of themselves.

Student Life is located in Suite 370 in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. We encourage you to visit us early and often!

2014 African and African American Achievement Celebration

The African and African American Achievement Celebration will take place at 3:30 pm on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Donald W. Reynolds Performing Arts Center (560 Parrington Oval, Norman, OK).
