Welcome to OU!


At the University of Oklahoma, we value our transfer students! Each year over 1,000 college students make the wise decision to transfer to OU, bringing with them a variety of knowledge, experiences, perspectives and goals. All of these things make OU a much more vibrant, exciting and rewarding place to be.

Camp Crimson: Transfer

A 3 day, 2 night summer orientation camp designed BY transfer students FOR transfer students. Visit for more information.

Transfer Leadership Class (TLC)

An experience for transfer students who want to develop their leadership skills, connect with outstanding students, faculty and staff at OU and discover how to be the best leader they can be at OU. Click here ( for more information.

Sooner Orientation Weekend

The 4 days prior to class beginning in the fall, with programs specifically for transfer students on Friday. Visit for more information.

Oklahoma Association of Transfer Students (OATS)

Transitions, UCOL 3001

UCOL 3001 introduces transfer students to the academic requirements, policies, and resources at the University of Oklahoma. Students will learn about academic advising, transfer credit, degree programs, campus resources, student life, and methods for achieving academic success at a four-year research institution. UCOL 3001 is a 1-hour, 8-week course that is letter graded.  Please see the flyer below for more information.
