Energy efficiency upgrades are an important step in OU’s pursuit of sustainable practices and cost reduction. In keeping with OU’s commitment to sustainable practices, OU Facilities Management is working to comprehensively upgrade several academic buildings across campus.
The entire project will be completed in phases. From photo luminescent exit signs and low-water-flow toilets to occupancy sensors for office lighting and motion sensors for vending machines, we're working to reduce energy use and costs. Reductions in utility costs and energy use from this project will continue to benefit the University for years to come.
