Welcome to the University of Oklahoma’s (OU) Project Threshold-TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) website where it is indeed a privilege to greet you! TRIO programs include an array of eight United States Department of Education grant-funded programs that are targeted to serve individuals with first-generation, economically disadvantaged, and disabled backgrounds. The overall mission of each respective program has been designed to assist this target population advance from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs, and includes a training program for directors and staff of TRIO projects.

Project Threshold-SSS has maintained a legacy of excellence in academic support services since its inception at OU in 1970. We are proud of our relationship with the U.S. Department of Education, the campus community, our participant graduation success rates, and in our reputation as being one of the longest running TRIO programs in the country. Many of our staff have backgrounds similar to the participants we serve which inspires our passion towards a commitment of ensuring that every student admitted to the program be provided with the best quality of academic support.

For interested applicants, I strongly encourage you to navigate through this website to learn more about the OU Project Threshold-SSS program, our dedicated staff, and the students we serve.
