School of Community Medicine Educational Grants

 

The purpose of the School of Community Medicine Inaugural Education Grant program is to financially assist University of Oklahoma College of Medicine medical students who choose to be participate in the beginning class of the School of Community Medicine. The financial assistance will be provided to the student through the OU Bursar’s office to decrease the amount of tuition charges.

 

Amount of Award:

  • $2,500 per semester for up to two semesters
  • $5,000 per year maximum

 

Requirements:

  • Matriculation in the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine for the Class of 2012
  • Acceptance into the School of Community Medicine Track, Tulsa
  • Agreement to participate in the third and fourth years of clinical training in Tulsa
  • Attendance at the SCM Summer Institute during the summer of 2008
  • Continued good standing in the College of Medicine
