Get Involved with Your Student Congress

Want to get involved in Student Congress? We meet most Tuesdays at 7:00pm in Adams 150 and have all seven committee meetings on Sunday afternoons in the Conoco Wing of the Union, OMU 181. View the Committee pages to see what time your favorite committee meets at.

We hold elections in November and March/April to elect Representatives to one-year terms. If an election is in the near future, we’ll post a an application on the Resources page.

We appoint students to vacant Representative seats and Associate throughout the semester, so please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested, and complete an application for appointment (Resources).

If you have an issue or idea that you would like Student Congress to work on, please contact us at Congress@ou.edu or drop by the Conoco Wing and we can schedule a meeting with you. Usually we’ll direct you to a specific committee who will work with you.

If you or your student organization has an important event coming up that you'd want to tell us about, e-mail Congress@ou.edu and let us know. We love to have guests speak at the beginnings of our meetings, particularly if they are putting on an event that affects the entire OU student body or OU community.
