Teaching Scholars Initiative was held on October 19 in the National Weather Center. TSI is a grassroots effort that started in the College of Arts & Sciences but has since expanded to include faculty members from across our campus.
The colloquium is organized by faculty members for faculty members. Except for our plenary speaker, the presenters are all members of the OU family. TSI provides an annual forum to discuss the challenges of college teaching at a research university.
Awards for Teaching Excellence were announced at the event and presented to outstanding faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences, and the College of Engineering.
